Weekly Mixed Media Class with Naomi-Jon on the 25th of March 2024 - Turtles in the Tides

Watercolour with an explosion of shimmering glitter and clear oil pastel turtles wraps this class up in a bow. From overwetting the page to building layer upon layer of watercolours with a hint of white paint, this is truly an underwater scene. In this free online mixed media class, Naomi-Jon tried Mont Marte's new Metalic Watercolour 21-piece set and fell in love with them through the process. What sold her was that she had all the glitter she could want on her art journal but not a droplet on her desk.

At the hour mark Naomi-Jon finished this mixed media painting with a few shadows here and some white dots around the highlights.
